As most of you know, I design candy buffet tables for a living and have a great time doing it! It is so much fun to come up with creative designs that match the bride and groom perfectly. Well, with custom made candy buffets comes a need to search for creative ideas to incorporate into the event I am doing. I found one such idea on MarthaStewart.com a few days ago! It is a Doily centerpiece that can look cute at a bridal shower, wedding, engagement party, baby shower, or garden party. Personally, I will use this idea for many candy buffets to come! Air Plants:DIY Decor
These are really unique and super low maintenance. Mary Swenson came out with this little DIY, and says that they cost around $5 each! That is not bad for a centerpiece of a decorative item. Check it out!

DIY centerpiece features!
DIY #1
This DIY is pretty fun and perfect for a rustic or outdoor wedding. I would decorate it with a small ribbon on the top or by the base where the paint is. To be honest I do not know that I would use a soda bottle with the black lip still on it, but it is up to you :)
DIY #2
Apparently the Rustic look is in again this year! Here is another centerpiece made out of recycled cans and can be tied with bear grass or a small ribbon.
DIY # 3
This last one is really neat. It is a fruit filled centerpiece and is relatively inexpensive!
